Global Warming

No free pass for global warming polluters!

Big polluters and their lobbyists are at it again, trying to convince Congress to give coal-fired power plants a free pass to keep polluting. Congress needs to hear from you that they should reject proposals like West Virginia Sen. Jay Rockefeller's "Dirty Air Act," which would let coal-fired power plants, America's biggest global warming offenders, off the hook for cleaning up their global warming pollution.

We need our senators to hold polluters accountable and fight global warming.

Please sign our petition today to urge your senators to reject the Dirty Air Act.

Global Warming

Environment America is running campaigns in more than a dozen states and at the national level to pass strong global warming pollution laws. More.

For too long, big polluters and their lobbyists have delayed action on clean energy to protect their profits. Now some in Congress want to give polluters free rein to dump carbon pollution into our air by delaying enforcement of the Clean Air Act. Congress should not be cutting a special deal for big polluters. I demand that President Obama, my senators and representative in Congress hold polluters accountable and oppose any effort to let them off the hook.
